Itinerary

Stop 1

Your journey begins with a private transfer service. You will be greeted by an Expert, English-speaking driver-guide with a deep knowledge of Sicilian history and traditions, guaranteeing dedicated assistance. Pick-up service for the start of the tour is available at Catania, Taormina, Messina, nearby areas and directly at the port embarkation piers. To ensure peace of mind, the exact meeting point will be coordinated and confirmed through direct contact before the experience, ensuring a timely and stress-free tour start.

Stop 2

In Zafferana Etnea there is a stop at a typical local farm, with tasting of different types of Etna honey, produced from pollen characteristic of the territory. The experience also includes the tasting of selected typical products.

Stop 3

Climb by car through the lava landscapes of Mount Etna to Rifugio Sapienza (about 2,000 m). A visit to the Silvestri Craters and a lava flow cave is planned, with time available to admire the view. Short optional walks are possible.

Stop 4

At Rifugio Sapienza there is a break with tasting of typical local chocolate. The refuge, located at about 2,000 meters above sea level, is one of the main access points to the summit area of Etna. During the stop you will be able to walk on the volcanic soil, touch the lava rocks and enjoy wide panoramic views, which allow you to appreciate the unique landscape and the extension of the surrounding territory.

Stop 5

Your tasting will take place at Cantine Gambino or Cantine Murgo, historical pillars of Etna winemaking and icons of excellence, ranked among the top 5 of the more than 400 wineries on Etna. Pioneers in the rediscovery of DOC wines, they will welcome you for a guided tasting of 4 elite labels. Each wine will be accompanied by local gastronomic specialties, creating a perfect match that celebrates the authentic flavor of the Sicilian territory

Stop 6

At the end of the tour there is a return to the agreed starting point, with organized transfer.
