Overview

Enjoy a day exploring the beauties that Umbria and Lazio regions have to offer.

This tour take you on a historical journey to visit two very ancient towns , Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio. Orvieto is a city that went through many historic eras, from Etruscans to Middle Age, and it is so characteristic with its duomo and narrow streets. Civita di Bagnoregio, the "dying city" it's a unique gem, a small village built on a rock that nowadays is surrounded by a huge valley and only reachable walking on a narrow and long bridge.

Your driver will pick you up at your place and drive to visit these places with multiple stops at your own pace on this private tour.

During the tour you’ll be allowed time for lunch (not included) and of course to visit the main sites of each town. At the end of the tour, sit back, relax and enjoy your 2 hours drive back to your place in Rome. The duration of your tour is about 10 hours and you can expect to be back around 7:00pm

Stop 1

The Medieval town is so characteristic with its Duomo, one of the best Gothic architecture in Italy, with different museums, beautiful craft shops, narrow streets, beautiful churches, historic palaces and the hidden underground area with tunnels and caves, and last but not least the St.Patrick’s well.

Stop 2

Civita di Bagnoregio, called The "Dying City", is a very evocative and unique town. It’s perched on a tiny cliff with jaw-dropping valleys all around and connected to the mainland by a very long and narrow bridge.
