Monas is a 132 meter high tower located in the center of Merdeka square symbolizing the fight for Indonesia, and commemorating the struggle for Indonesian independence. NB : this place is closed every monday, If your your date is fall on moday, you only Pass from infront of gate.

standing proudly right across is the old Catholic church. Katedral Chruch built in the neo gothic style which was consecrated in 1901.

Continue next to the Wayang Museum. The collection of this museum covers all of Indonesia’s Puppetry and almost all of its history. The Wayang Museum is one of Jakarta’s most unique cultural museums, dedicated to the traditional Indonesian art of wayang—a form of storytelling using puppets. Located in the historic area of Kota Tua Jakarta, the museum is housed in a beautiful colonial-era building that reflects the city’s Dutch heritage. Inside the museum, visitors can discover an extensive collection of puppets from across Indonesia, including wayang kulit (leather shadow puppets), wayang golek (wooden rod puppets), and puppets from other countries such as China, India, and Cambodia. These puppets are traditionally used to tell epic stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, as well as local folklore. NB : this Place is clsoed every monday and National Holiday of Indonesia

visit to the Istiqlal Mosque, This is the largest mosque in South East Asia, can accomodate more than 200.000 people.and to show that these two big religions are living in harmony in Indonesia

the Last Visit is Visit China Town which became the location of Chinese settlements since the 1500 century to the present. We will pass & explore the traditional wet market and see the local community, especially Chinese people, do their business and transactions.
