Departure is from Bali at 1:00 PM, with a scenic drive to East Java. After a local dinner (vegetarian and halal), you’ll rest in your room before the night ascent.
At night, hike to the summit (2,370 m), descend into the crater to witness the rare blue flames and the work of sulfur porters.
At dawn, admire the sunrise over the world’s largest acid lake.
