Itinerary

Stop 1

Your tour begins at 9:00 AM, and we'll pick you up from your hotel or any other location in Udaipur. We'll then take a private air-conditioned vehicle to Chittorgarh which is about 112 km away. The travel time usually takes between 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Stop 2

Upon arriving at Chittorgarh, you'll be amazed by the beauty of the iconic Chittorgarh Fort. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and former capital of Mewar, this sprawling fort complex is a must-see for any visitor to India. Plan on spending at least one day exploring all that it has to offer - from Vijay Stambha to Samadhisvar Temple, Kumbha Palace and Ratan Signh Palace.

Stop 3

Next stop is the Vijaya Stambha, a majestic victory monument located within the Fort. It was built by the Hindu Rajput king Rana Kumbha of Mewar in 1448. It stands as an ode to his triumph over the army of Malwa led by Mahmud Khalji at the Battle of Sarangpur. Be sure to pay this remarkable structure a visit when you're at Fort!

Stop 4

The Padmini Palace is a 3-storied white building that overlooks a tranquil lotus pool and features pavilions at the top. It was once the residence of Rani Padmini, wife of King Rawal Ratan Singh, who played an important role in Rajput history. This palace has become an example for many other notable structures which were surrounded by water due to its unique architecture.

Stop 5

Kirti Stambha is a 22-metre-high tower located at the Chittor Fort in Chittorgarh. Built by Jeeja Bhagerwala during Rawal Kumar Singh's reign in the 12th century, this majestic structure was created to honor Jainism. The tower is adorned with exquisite sculptures and carvings that make it even more breathtaking. Visiting Kirti Stambha should be on your list when exploring the wonders of Chittorgarh Fort.
