We then continue to the peaceful village of Armenoi to admire its beautiful Venetian church and enjoy a relaxing coffee beneath the shade of a centuries-old plane tree. Local delicacies — cheeses and traditional cold cuts — are carefully selected for our picnic later in the day.

At the historic Monastery of Agios Georgios at Karydi, guests explore the charming monastery grounds and a traditional stone olive mill, a timeless reminder of Crete’s olive-oil heritage. We collect fresh monastery olive oil to savor during our countryside feast.
