Other highlights are the many churches in typical Cycladic architecture, especially the church of Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of St. Nikolas, as well as Skaros Rock which features the remains of a medieval fortress.

Oia is the famous town, nestled in the hillsides. Oia is unique in every way with iconic blue domed churches, scenic pathways, stunning views of the caldera and the most spectacular sunset.

The Monastery of the Prophet Elijah is built at about 565 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest point of the entire island. Megalochori - Traditional Village Megalochori is a picturesque, lively village with friendly, lively inhabitants. For cruise ship passengers disembarking at the old port of Fira which is not accessible , the meeting point is the exit of the cable car upper station or shuttle bus station in Fira. The guide/driver will be waiting for our guests at the meeting point holding a sign with their name on.
