We will start at W.E.B. DuBois, a memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture is a memorial place. It was named after William Edward Burghardt Du Bois who was an African-American civil rights activist and later became a citizen of Ghana in the 1960s. He is often known as the ‘Father of Pan-Africanism’.

Stop 2
Our next stop is the Black Star Square which is one of the biggest squares in the world which was designed for huge events, military marches and commercial events such as concerts and fashion shows, which take place throughout the year.

Stop 3
This centre is home to tens of markets for handmade Ghanian products ranging from clothes to bags to accessories, art works and wooden sculptures. Travelers can make purchase of items that catches their eye. We will spend some time browsing here before getting a snack and then heading to our next destination.

The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and memorial park is located in downtown Accra and is dedicated to the prominent Ghanaian President Kwame Nkrumah, a revolutionary and the first Ghanian president who led his people to become the first sub-Saharan African country to gain their independence.

Stop 5
Gallery 1957 is a contemporary art gallery located in Accra, Ghana. The gallery intends to present artists of West Africa and the diaspora and a pleasant blend of traditional and modern depictions of African culture.

Stop 6
We will end our tour watching the sunset at Hannawi's Beach Cinema Bar an outdoor movie theatre. Here we will enjoy a film.
