Itinerary
1
Stop 1
This morning we start from our departure offices for a ride over the highway to Cologne. The road is one of the most important traffic links between the Federal States of Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia. Time enough to chat with your guide on German infra-structure. Although we are moving between two of Germany's strongest industrial zones, the country is green. Left and right the road are many forest areas and expansive fields.

Stop 2
Visit Cologne for a day and discover 2000 years of its history, from the Roman times through to the Middle Ages to the bustling metropolis that exists today. This tour shows you some of the city’s most ancient relics, its grand Gothic Cathedral and the induring icons of culture from across the centuries. An indoor visit of the fantastic and one of the largest European Gothic Cathedrals. The foundation stone was laid in 1248, but it took more than 600 years to complete the building. Take your free time to visit the relics of Cologne’s importance in Ancient Roman times (f.i. the Dionysos floor mosaic, with 75 square meters one of the largest north of the Alps). Or the testimonies of medieval urban life displayed by the mighty city gates and fantastic churches. Or the outstanding modern art collections. If you prefer: close to the cathedral stretches a large pedestrian shopping area.
