Meet your host at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and enjoy reserved access to the Louvre Museum, the world’s largest museum with more than 9,000 years of history. Your host will escort you directly inside and guide you through an orientation route covering the must-sees: Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the medieval foundations of the palace, the Venus de Milo and the Caryatids, the Etruscan collections, Pharaonic Egypt with the Seated Scribe and a mummy, the dazzling Apollo Gallery and its royal jewels, French masterpieces such as Liberty Leading the People, the decorative arts of the kings and Napoleon III’s apartments, as well as the Richelieu Wing and its grand French sculptures. Afterward, you are free to continue exploring at your own pace.

- Meeting point: Outside the Louvre Museum, under the Carrousel Arch facing the Pyramid. Look for our ParisCityVision staff holding a sign in front of the Carrousel Arch. GPS coordinates: 48°51'42.3"N 2°19'59.3"E Directions: With the Louvre Pyramid behind you, the meeting point is to the right of the arch. Please do not confuse the Carrousel Arch with the Arc de Triomphe.
- Arrive 20 minutes before the beginning of the tour. If you arrive after the indicated time we have to consider a no-show.
- Louvre: A cloakroom is compulsory for umbrellas, luggage, and pushchairs that are not allowed in the exhibition rooms.
- The Louvre Museum closes at 9:45 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Louvre : Access to temporary exhibitions is not included in this tour.
- No re-entry is allowed once you leave the Louvre Museum (and the Eiffel Tower if that option is selected).
- This is not a guided tour; it is a timed-entry experience with a host who will take you to the museum’s masterpieces.
