2
Stop 2
The Valley of the Kings is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hidden in the desert cliffs of Luxor’s West Bank, this royal necropolis was the final resting place of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC). Here, more than 60 royal tombs have been discovered, belonging to legendary rulers such as Ramses II, Seti I, and Tutankhamun. Each tomb is beautifully decorated with brightly colored wall paintings and inscriptions from the Book of the Dead, designed to guide the king on his journey to the afterlife. A standard entry ticket includes 3 tombs, selected by the authorities on rotation to preserve them. Each tomb offers a unique experience, with corridors, burial chambers, and detailed scenes of gods, pharaohs, and the underworld.
3
Stop 3
Continue to the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful women in ancient Egypt. Built dramatically into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, the temple is an architectural masterpiece, with terraces, statues, and shrines dedicated to Amun and Hathor. Your guide will explain the story of Hatshepsut’s reign, trade expeditions, and her unique role as a female pharaoh.
4
Stop 4
Before returning to Luxor, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Standing 18 meters high, these monuments once guarded a massive temple complex and today remain iconic symbols of Luxor’s West Bank, after that back to your hotel .
