Itinerary

Stop 1
we will start our route from the monument of the main fairy-tales writer of the world lived in Copenhagen for more then 50 years. We'll get to know him better and find out why he admired Copenhagen so much

We will walk along the elegant facades of one of the oldest amusement parks in the world and learn an interesting story about how the park was created and why it is so famous through centuries

Then we will visit Rådhuspladsen - the heart of the whole country, not only of Copenhagen. By what is happening here, you can follow the news agenda of the country. Let's look at it in detail.

Stop 4
This is the start of the medieval city and one of the longest pedestrian street in Europe. As we walk along the street, I will tell you many interesting stories about the history of this district, Great Fire of Copenhagen, famous Danish pastries, etc.

This is the oldest square in Copenhagen. Already in the 12th century, there were a fish market here, knightly tournaments etc.

On our way to the most cozy and beautiful street in Denmark, we will talk about what real Danish hygge is and how Magstræde street reflects this concept. you will visit one of the oldest streets in the city - with several charming buildings of the 17th century

This 18th century palace was built for the Crown Prince Frederik V and converted to a museum in 1892. The collection is showing 14,000 years of history with treasures from Denmark and the rest of the world. While we walk along the facades of this beautiful palace, I will tell you the story of its most famous exhibit

The founder of the city Absalon is believed to have created Copenhagen here. His first fortress that was built here safely stood here for 200 years. What happened afterwords? What is the role of this district in Denish history. Why is it called the political heart of Denmark? We'll explore this island and talk about Danish politics, the tax system, the Social Democrats, etc.

This version of Christiansborg Castle was built in 1928 as a functional parliament center. Here we will also see the royal stables with horses that participate in various royal events and a royal arena, where horses are trained. If the weather is good and the group has enough time, we can climb Christiansborg Tower and see the city from above (not available on Mondays and certain holidays - need to be checked)

It was supposed that ships would come here, and fresh fish would be sold on the shore, but in reality it turned out to be more interesting - taverns, brothels, a tattoo salon began to appear near the water. The north side of the canal |harbor is printed in magazines and on souvenir postcards in millions of copies, it is the most popular Instagram location in the city.
