Jungle in Amazon World
Overview
Located in Leticia, it is the first and only environmental education center in the municipality. It offers an interactive experience to learn about Amazonian biodiversity, ecology and agritourism, while knowing the traditional and medicinal uses of plants. It is the must-see in the Amazon.
The experience includes 4 routes guided by a native environmental interpreter:
Medicinal Plants
The largest organized collection in the department, with 6 pedagogical stations and Amazonian tea tasting.
Natural Products
Discover native plants and fruits used in sustainable systems, production processes and environmental education.
Cultural Village
Participate in activities such as bow and arrow throwing and darts with cerbatana.
Amazon Aquarium
Observe piranhas and various species of fish in the region.
Traditional lunch
Jungle Hike
Travel a beautiful trail for an hour and a half to connect with the Amazonian nature.
