Mount Qingcheng and Dujiangyan Dam Guided Day Trip from Chengdu

Your Chengdu tour starts in the early morning as your guide will pick up you from your hotel and then head to Mount Qingcheng in an hour’ drive. You will enjoy the beautiful Chengdu plain and villages en route. Arrive in Mount Qingcheng, take the cable car up the mountain very quickly, and then you will hike up about 30 minutes to the Summit of Mount Qingcheng, Shangqinggong Palace. After you descend the mountain in the afternoon, after 20 minutes' driving, you will arrive in Dujiangyan Dam. Dujiangyan Dam is the most famous ancient Chinese Dam, and it is still functioning. Then take sightseeing bus to enjoy the scenery of Dujiangyan Dam. Here you will learn about how ancient China made full use of the local landscape and to build this great project. After that you will be brought back to your hotel where your tour concludes.
