Itinerary

1
Stop 1
This tour offers you two flexible packages to choose from based on your needs: a transfer-only service and a guided service with a professional local guide. The itinerary is fully customizable: you can pick one Great Wall section from three iconic options—Badaling, Juyongguan, or Mutianyu, plus one downtown Beijing attraction of your choice, such as the Temple of Heaven or the Summer Palace. Please note that Forbidden City tickets require advance booking—we strongly recommend reserving your tour at least 7 days prior to your visit if you wish to include the Forbidden City in your plan. Tickets tend to sell out very quickly during peak travel seasons, so early reservation is the only way to guarantee your entry.

Stop 2
Depending on your flight schedule, your private layover tour kicks off with a pickup at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) or Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX). Hop aboard your private, air-conditioned vehicle and relax on the journey to your chosen Great Wall section. From PEK: Approximately 1.5 hours to Badaling, Mutianyu, or Juyongguan Great Wall. From PKX: Approximately 2.5 hours to Badaling, Mutianyu, or Juyongguan Great Wall. Upon arrival at the Great Wall, your driver or guide (if you opted for the guided package) will assist you with ticket arrangements. Transfer-only package: Explore the Great Wall at your own pace. Guide+transfer package: Follow your local guide to uncover the Great Wall’s rich history and hidden stories. After the guided tour segment, you’ll get free time to explore independently. Your driver or guide will advise you of the return meeting time, carefully aligned with your connecting flight schedule.

Stop 3
Once you’ve finished exploring the Great Wall, we’ll head downtown to city. You have a range of downtown highlights to pick from: Summer Palace: Open daily year-round, perfect for a leisurely stroll through imperial gardens and lakeside pavilions. Forbidden City&Temple of Heaven: Closed every Monday. Note that Forbidden City tickets require advance booking at least 7 days prior to your visit. They sell out extremely fast during peak seasons, so early reservation is critical. Note: most downtown attractions close around 5:00 PM. If your flight lands in Beijing at noon, these daytime spots may no longer be accessible. We offer alternative options tailored for late arrivals: Jingshan Park: Climb to the top for a stunning panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Tian’anmen Square&Qianmen Area to sample authentic Beijing street food, or browse local markets The rest of your itinerary can be fully customized—simply discuss your preferences with your driver or guide for a personalized experience
