Your English - speaking guide will meet you at your Beijing hotel. If you've opted for public transportation, the guide will accompany you on the subway or in a taxi to reach the attractions(at your own cost). For those who have booked a private air - conditioned vehicle, simply follow the guide and enjoy a comfortable ride to the sites. First, visit the Lama Temple, once an imperial residence and now the largest, best - preserved lamasery in Beijing. It combines a Tibetan Buddhism museum and an active temple. Admire the Buddha Maitreya statue, carved from a single sandalwood log from Nepal, the world's largest wooden Buddha. The architecture here is a fascinating blend of Han and Tibetan styles, with each hall housing unique religious artifacts. The air is filled with the fragrance of burning incense, creating a truly immersive spiritual experience.

Next, head to the Confucius Temple. This temple is dedicated to the great Chinese philosopher Confucius and serves as a symbol of traditional Chinese culture and education.
