Overview

Itinerary

Stop 1

You will get picked up from the outside of the main gate of Amber Cove.

Stop 2

We pick you up from the front gate of Taino Bay.

Stop 3

We bring you to the small village of Tubagua at the beautiful mountain road from Puerto Plata to Santiago with marvelous ocean and mountain views, just over half an hour drive from Puerto Plata and 45 minutes from Amber Cove. In the “Taino Valley Tropical Park” you will find a lush forest, full of tropical flowers and trees, a flowing creek along easy to hike trails (2.5 Km / 1.6 M) with breathtaking mountain views, a small lake and information about the Taino culture. After your walk in the forest, you relax and enjoy a traditional lunch at the nearby “Casa Antigua” Restaurant situated in an authentic Dominican house of over 100 years old.
