Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 3-hour journey through the scenic beauty of Brazil. Our tours are meticulously synchronized with your ship's docking times, ensuring a prompt start and a timely return to the port with ample time to spare before your ship's departure. Please note that Sao Paulo is a significant distance from the port, allowing limited time for exploration. The Luz railway station was built in 1867 as the centre of the newly founded (British) São Paulo railway. Even into the 20th century, the railway station was of extraordinary importance, as it was the main entrance to the city and most of the exported and imported goods were handled here.

The Pátio do Colégio marks the site where São Paulo was founded in 1554. The Jesuit school was a simple hut covered with palm leaves when priests celebrated the inaugural mass in 1554. The associated buildings have been re-built and re-constructed many times over the history of the Jesuit mission.

The fourth largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the gateway to St. Paul's tourism, the church was built in 1913, took 40 years, and became a luxurious engineering tribute when St. Paul celebrated the 400th anniversary of the founding of the city.

Liberdade is São Paulo's large and colourful Asian (largely Japanese) district, with a great variety of restaurants and stores and a square that hosts folk festivals and a weekly open-air market. In the early 1900s, the area became popular with Japanese immigrants. Today, over one million Japanese and Brazillian-Japanese people call this area home.
