Salvador Panoramic City Tour
Overview
Our tour starts at Farol da Barra “the geographical limit of the Bay of All Saints with the Atlantic Ocean” where we stop for photos. We continue towards the Dique do Tororó, where the sculptures of the Candomblé orixás and the Fonte Nova Arena are located.
The tour continues through the lower city through the Américo Simas tunnel, passing through the port area and crossing the commercial district of Calçada. Just ahead is the Largo de Roma, where the Social Works by Sister Dulce are located, continue along the Avenida dos Dendezeiros, reaching the Bonfim Hill, where we stop for photos at the most famous church in Salvador due to the traditional “Lavagem do Bonfim”. We pass by the Monte Serrat Fort, with its beautiful view of the Bay of All Saints.
Then stop at the Mercado Modelo to appreciate the local handicrafts, where the colorful handicrafts, the sea in the background and the sound of the berimbau stop the gaze of tourists and people passing through the place. Return to the Hotel
