Stop 1

Begin your day with hotel pickup in San Ignacio. Guests staying along the route toward Mountain Pine Ridge can also be conveniently picked up or dropped off. Enjoy scenic views as your guide introduces the day’s adventure.

Stop 2

Travel through one of these charming Maya farming communities on your way to the reserve. Learn about rural life in Belize and take in the changing landscape as pine forest replaces tropical jungle. Arrive in the cool highlands of Belize, known for their rugged terrain, waterfalls, and hidden caves. This protected area offers a refreshing escape surrounded by pine trees and crystal-clear streams.

Stop 3

Step into one of Belize’s most impressive caves, featuring towering chambers, natural skylights, and smooth limestone formations. Your guide will lead you safely through its cathedral-like interior while sharing its geological and cultural history.

Stop 4

Next, visit a series of cascading pools and natural rock slides nestled in the pine forest. Swim, relax, or simply soak up the mountain views. A hearty Belizean lunch is served nearby, surrounded by forest sounds and fresh air.
