Azerbaijani historians have found documents in Russian archives confirming that an oil well was drilled at Bibi-Eybat field near Baku in 1846. Thus, this well can be considered the first in the world, as it appeared 13 years before commercial oil production began in the United States.

In this beutiful mosque, you will be told about the role of Islam in Azerbaijan and see one of the most ancient and beautiful buildings in the country.

You will visit both of the museums. Our guide will tell you about life of ancient tribes in Gobustan and show the Govustan rock paintings that were made in periods from late stone age to middleages.
