Overview

Mother Armenia is a monumental statue in Victory Park overlooking the capital city of Yerevan. It has a height of 22 meters while the overall height of the monument is 51 meters (167 ft), including the pedestal. The pedestal hosts a military museum inside. The Cascade is an architectural complex in Yerevan that consists of a multi-level staircase structure with terraces, fountains, sculptures, and exhibition halls. The complex connects the city center with the elevated areas of the other administrative districts. It is one of the symbols of the city, one of the most visited tourist sites and an important public space. Simply known by locals as Opera, it is one of the main landmarks and recognizable symbols of Yerevan. It consists of two concert halls: the Philharmonic Concert Hall and the Opera and Ballet National Theatre.

Today this is one of the beloved places of not only the locals but also the tourists with multiple cozy cafes and restaurants, representing one of the biggest collections of the world modern art in Yerevan.

The Mother Armenia monument is a prominent symbol located in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The monument depicts a female figure, clad in traditional Armenian attire, holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. It represents the strength and resilience of the Armenian people. Visitors often come to the area not just to appreciate the monument itself, but also for its panoramic views of Yerevan and the surrounding landscape, including Mount Ararat in the distance.
