Overview

You never want a vacation to end; it's never long enough. That's why we've planned this comfortable tour of Antigua. You'll be able to swim in the shallow waters of Stingray City (you don't need to know how to swim because the water is chest-deep). You'll also be able to swim at one of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in the Antilles: Long Bay Beach. Snorkeling here is also perfect for those who want to try this unusual activity (equipment included). A vacation isn't a real journey if you don't understand the origins of its people, which is why we'll take you to the former sugarcane plantation where more than 300 slaves worked. We'll also take you to photograph the most photographed site in Antigua: Devil's Bridge. During the day, we'll savor a dish of authentic Caribbean cuisine.

Itinerary

Stop 1

Transfer from the meeting point with a van to reach the village of Seatons where we take the boat to reach the sandbank in the middle of the sea where we will meet the stingrays.

Stop 2

If you are going to live the most unforgettable experience in Antigua, Stingray City is the one for you. We will reach by land the starting point of the boat that in 10 minutes will take us in the middle of the sea where the meeting with the friendly Stingray will take place. It will not be necessary to know how to swim because you touch the bottom of the sea and there will be direct contact with this friendly animal. This is not a zoo or circus! Stingrays are free in their natural habitat. Boat time to reach Stingray City: 10 minutes. Time in the water with Stingrays: 50/60 minutes. Come back with the boat: 10 minutes. Time for check the pictures, drink the drink included and use the bathroom: 10/20 minutes.

Stop 3

Transfer by land to reach Devil's Bridge: 15 minutes. Once you arrive, your guide will explain many interesting things about this famous place in Antigua. Time at Devil's Bridge: 20 minutes.

Stop 4

Driving time to reach Long Bay: 5 minutes The beach mentioned in all the best travel guides: Long Bay. The best for excellent snorkeling (equipment included) starting from the shore. Absolutely worth a try... Beach break of: 1 hours

Stop 5

Time to reach the restaurant: 15 minutes. The best way to get to know a place is through its customs, traditions, and... cuisine! If you come to Antigua, you absolutely must try oven-roasted chicken with rice and seasonal vegetables. A simple yet flavorful dish. Once you've finished it, you'll want to ask the cook for the recipe, but she won't tell you because it's a secret passed down from generation to generation. But she'll tell you with a smile. Time for lunch: 45 minutes.

Stop 6

Time to reach Betty's Hope: 10 minutes. Antigua endured dark ages where slavery was commonplace. Your guide will retrace some key moments in this sad but significant history. The open-air museum may be closed, but your guide will still entertain you nearby. Time at Betty's Hope: 20 minutes.

Stop 7

It's time to return to the port or resort. The day has been filled with experiences and memories you'll cherish forever.
