The best of Rainbow Mountain- Full Day

Early morning we will pick you up (3:45 am) and take you to "Cusipata Village " We will hike through villages and interact with the local residents, Back on the trail, we encounter more of the traditional elements of this trek.

This includes potato fields and fauna.

We have the prospect of seeing chinchillas and vicunas.

Vicunas are the only non-domesticated animal of the llama family in Peru.

Many red mountains are also a highlight of this portion of the hike.

After a total hike of approximately 3 hours, we finally reach our destination, what we came to see the Rainbow Mountains (5,020 m / 16,466 ft).

After, you will have time to explore the area.

You will have time to take pictures and we will spend approximately 1 hour at the top.

At this point, it is time to go back down and enjoy for lunch.

We will embark on the 3-hour drive back to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.

Approximate arrival time is between 5: 00 or 6:00 pm.

Hike and discover the beauty of the Mother Earth and the Andes of Cusco.

The Rainbow Mountain is an important site during the pre-Inca times.

Hiking with the tour guide, you’ll explore the rainbow see sights such the local adobe houses, llamas, and the Ausangate Glacier.

The hiking each way will be for two hours average, which we recommend bring light stuff and bring water and get prepare for this full day trip.

Also, you will enjoy a typical breakfast and Lunch in a group with other travelers from around the world and will be a chance to meet them!
