Itinerary

1
Stop 1
The trip begins in Cusco with hotel pick-up and transportation to our first stop.
2
Stop 2
Our first stop will be in the picturesque village of Chinchero. Here, you will be able to explore the ancient agricultural terraces and discover the vestiges of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. You will also have the opportunity to visit an interesting colonial temple built on Inca foundations. To end our visit to this town, we will visit a Textile Interpretation Center. Here, we will have a demonstration of the art of Andean weaving.
3
Stop 3
Next, we will head to Moray, where you’ll marvel at the impressive circular terraces—an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory ingeniously designed to experiment with different microclimates and crops. Surrounded by breathtaking Andean scenery, these concentric terraces reveal the extraordinary engineering and farming knowledge of the Inca civilization. Then, we’ll arrive at the Maras Salt Mines, a stunning collection of thousands of terraced salt pools cascading down the mountainside. Used since Inca times, these natural salt pans are still harvested by local families today, offering a unique glimpse into ancient traditions that have endured for centuries.
4
Stop 4
Our next stop is the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, an impressive Inca fortress strategically built to guard the entrance to the Sacred Valley and defend it from potential invasions. With its massive stone terraces, ceremonial centers, and panoramic views, Ollantaytambo stands as a powerful testament to Inca military engineering and spiritual significance.
5
Stop 5
Afterward, we’ll head to Urubamba, a charming town nestled in the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes made with fresh, local ingredients.
6
Stop 6
Once re-energized, we’ll explore the picturesque town of Pisac and its remarkable Archaeological Complex, strategically perched atop a mountain to offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. As the day comes to an end, we’ll journey back to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 p.m., filled with unforgettable memories of the Sacred Valley.
