Its waters have one of the largest and in best condition coral reefs on the Pacific coast. It is an important area for the breeding of various species of fish, turtles, stingrays, white tip reef sharks and school of fish. The island protects very important marine environments, where coral reefs stand out for their size and richness of species. Departing from the Marino Ballena National Park, with chances of spotting resident dolphins and migrating whales on the way to the island. This snorkeling tour is guided by a trained and bilingual professional, alongside a crew that will be on your side at all times to ensure your safety and have all your needs covered. Once you arrive at our office located in Bahía Ballena, our guide will receive you, and after checking in at 6:30 a.m., you'll get to enjoy some coffee or juice before starting. Our guide will give a small briefing about the tour. Then, at around 7:00 a.m., we’ll walk to the Marino Ballena National Park to get on the boat and embark on this adventure.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure departing from Marino Ballena National Park to Cano Island! As we make our way to the island, we will past the iconic Whale Tail or Tómbolo, where nature's wonders unfold before your eyes. If you're lucky, on the way you will be captivated by resident dolphins, and if you visit us during whale migration season, you'll have the chance to witness the majesty of humpback whales on the way that we'll stop to look at. On this journey we promise not just a destination, but a snippet of nature's wonders along the way. You'll spend around one hour an twenty minutes getting to the island and back. The daily ticket to access the Marino Ballena National Park after the tour, is not included.

As we arrive to the Island and check in to the Reserve, we will get everything ready to get into the water. The snorkeling will be divided into two 90 minute snorkel sessions. If this is too much for you, you can always let the guide know, and stop or take a break whenever you're ready to. In between sessions, we'll take a time to visit the island and take ome time to relax.

Once we get back from the Island, at around 1:00-1:30pm, you will get to enjoy a full lunch with soft drinks back in Uvita. Either at the beach or at our facilities where we have a nice and equipped space with tables for you to have lunch with the rest of the group, in order to say goodbye to this adventure completely satisfied.
