Itinerary

Stop 1
This is be an excellent starting point to understand why Brussels exists and we will find out who ruled the medieval city by looking at the architecture.

Stop 2
Statue of Manneken Pis one of the most famous symbols of Brussels

Stop 3
The wardrobe of Manneken pis is a new museum with all the clothes made for the statue

ruins of an ancient fortified wall from the 13th century

Stop 5
Aristocratic neighbourhood SABLON with its antiques and diamond shops and the gothic church Notre Dame des Victoires au Sablon, the Great Synagogue and a french style garden Petit Sablon with the Palace Egmont and other government building.

Stop 6
Here we will see the largest Palace of Justice in the world, the most important museum in Belgium, the Brussels Royal Museum of Fine Arts. We will talk about the castle of the Duques located in the hill and then demolished to build the royal area.

Stop 7
We finish the tour at the Mont des Arts next to the Brussels Central Train Station (Gare Central). Here we will have a panoramic view over the swampy valley of Brussels where we will see in the horizon the 5th largest church in the world and Brussels Chocolate Village. We will talk about two important legacies of the industrial revolution, the metalurgical industry (Atomium, Art Nouveau Arquitecture, Bronze scultures) and the chocolate expertise of the 20th century.

Brussels Grand Place is the main square, it is 5 minutes walk from Brussels Central train and metro Station. we can meet at the centre of the square

The tour finishes in the royal area of Brussels, where most museum are located, it is know as the upper part of central Brussels, also near Brussels Central Station
