We start with Lucerne’s home mountain called Pilatus, 7000 feet high and the most famous attraction in Lucerne. We’ll take a standard train ride followed by a ride on the steepest cogwheel train in the world. On the summit you’ll take in a staggering overview of Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. From there we’ll continue by boat to a village called Vitznau. The boat ride is a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the alpine scenery. From Vitznau, we take our second cogwheel train for a ride to the top of Mount Rigi—the queen of the mountains. You’ll enjoy your second summit on the same day before we continue by cable car and take a boat ride from Weggis back to Lucerne.
