Come join Roam Outdoor Adventure Co. for an unforgettable slot canyon experience. We will spend the majority of our tour on our UTV's. Our guides will drive you in the UTV (Can Am Defenders) to Upper and Lower Red Cave Slot Canyons. Don't forget your camera you will have the ability to take amazing pictures to remember this. We will hike a 1/4 total. Due to the fact that we have multiple tours per day being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. As your guide—part naturalist, part amateur photographer—I’ll lead you through hidden terrain few have ever explored. We’ll journey through a narrow slot canyon, using our hands to navigate steep, rugged passages. Short sections may involve ropes and light scrambling, adding to the sense of adventure. Along the way, we’ll encounter striking sandstone formations, wind-carved caves, and breathtaking overlooks. The terrain can be demanding at times, but the reward is immense—panoramic views and a connection to the land that lingers long after the journey ends. This experience promises lasting memories and unforgettable photographs.

(Minimum 2 guests per booking.) This is a fully guided tour where guides do the driving. NO GUEST DRIVING. Get ready for a fun ride to Peek-A-Boo slot canyon! The best way to get to the canyon is with an off-road machine. Ourmachines are the most fun you'll have getting over the sandy trails to the sandboarding location. Sandboarding is an optional activity for children, teens and anyone that wants to give it a try free of charge. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way. This slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of those busy areas at the national parks. The hike through the canyon is not difficult. A short ladder is present. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more. This is a group tour, but no combination of groups will exceed 10 travelers so that we can keep the experience affordable and intimate.

The best way to get to the canyon is with an off-road machine. Our UTV's are tons of fun for the sandy, bumpy trails. Sandboarding is an included optional activity for children, teens, and adults who want to give it a try. You can slide standing up or sitting down according to your skill and comfort levels. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way, with occasional small wildlife that may make an appearance. This dry slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the busier areas at the national parks. The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. Enjoy the narrow sections with the occasional beam of light. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Travel in our off-road Can Am Defenders driven by our experienced guides to the Coal Hollow Slot Canyon. This tour is a great tour for young families and beginning canyoneers. After arriving at the canyon we will have a 1/2 mile steep hike. We will then Rappel through the slot canyon via 4 rappels. This will be the high-light of your vacation! Come explore some of Southern Utah's most unique slot canyons! This tour begins with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, which is privately accessed and far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 -feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through. Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information. This tour is specific for groups that do not desire to climb, and when the canyon gets too difficult the group will hike back to the UTV and travel to a separate slot canyon and explore the bottom section of it as well.

This is a 3 hour tour, so you are not rushed, you will have lots of time to enjoy the canyon and if you have time left over we will show you other hidden gems in the area.

After a short 1/2 mile but steep hike we will arrive at the first of 6 to 7 rappels. We provide all the equipment we will need for this amazing opportunity to rappel into a slot canyon. Then zip over to the iconic Star Dune, one of the largest in the park for a fun and adrenaline pumping Sand boarding adventure. Guests can either stand or sit on the sleds. Explore one of Utah's best known slot canyons, Peekaboo. Located 5 miles north of Kanab this slot canyon is a must see. After an amazing 15 to 20 minute Jeep ride, walk through the 1/2 mile slot canyon Peekaboo. Peekaboo is one of southern Utah's best known slot canyon. Walk through this narrow canyon with high sandstone walls on both sides of you. You will get to see how the Native American's that lived in this area used the canyon as you can look at their Moqui steps that they created to read high up area's on the cliff walls. Make sure to bring a camera so that you capture some of the beauty you will see. You wont forget the amazing red sandstone canyon. We hope to see you soon. Destination: Moab.
Guests will hike their way on the rock fins towards drainages and canyons that lead to two rappels. The first rappel sends visitors into the slot canyon, Medieval Chamber. Rappelling through this canyon displays the beautiful layers of sandstone that have been dispersed over millions of years. The canyon then opens up to make way for the second rappel. This unique free hanging rappel is a breathtaking 120 feet next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge. The bridge measures 243 feet in width, making it one of the longest natural land bridges in the United States. Once at the bottom visitors are able to enjoy the scenic hike Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River.

Tours guides know all the hot spots and they will guide you through the amazing natural wonder of Antelope Canyon. They will provide you with the secret knowledge of photographing the beams and dancing with the sand. We will have little chance to be alone in the canyon on this tour, nor will we be able to hear the quiet that some of the other tour times provide, but this tour is a photographic extravaganza. We believe we have the best time starting at 10:30 am for photographing the canyon. We get the early development of the light beams and stay until the beams start to lift off the canyon floor. This tour is led with precision and experience.

A 5 foot ladder lets hikers over one big rock.
