The PADI E-learning Advanced Open Water course can be completed in 2 days and consists of 5 adventure dives. Two of these will be a deep dive and a navigation dive and then you get to choose 3 more dives from 9 available adventure dives. A very fun course and will greatly improve your scuba diving skills.

Destination: Tamarindo.
TamaDive is focused on safety and personalized service. Don’t worry about anything; that's our job! In this 3 days course you will learn the basics of diving. During the first day, you will watch some diving videos and practice basic diving skills in the pool with your instructor. On the second day, you will discover the wonderful underwater fauna of Costa Rica in 2 open water dives while applying everything learned in the first day. And, on the last day, you will do the last 2 dives and take the final exam, thus consolidating everything seen before.

Destination: Bophut.
We are the only Dive Center in Samui, that has a professional dive pool. You will start the first steps of diving in a safe and controlled environment. You will enter the Open Water (Ocean) with a proper training and our Instructors ensure that you are prepared to go diving. We also have the possibility for an private Instructor if you request this service, to make your adventure unique and "just for you". We never expand the ratio of 4 students for each course, so we can always provide a secured lesson in the pool and in the open water.

Under the guidance of a PADI Instructor, you will explore various specialties, log dives, and cultivate expertise, discovering new dimensions of enjoyment in scuba diving. Each Adventure Dive undertaken may contribute towards the initial dive of a corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. If you have previously completed a specialty diver course before the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you can also receive credit for an Adventure Dive. Aspiring (Junior) Open Water Divers, aged 12 and above, are eligible to enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver course, with certain Adventure Dives tailored for young divers.

What You Learn: Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: Knowledge Development (home study) to understand basic principles of scuba diving. Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills. Open Water Dives to review your skills & explore! If you've tried diving through a 'Discover Scuba Diving' experience', the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full Open Water Diver course certification.

The Advanced Open Water Course includes 4 specialty courses. Once they have been completed, and you have logged at least 24 dives, you'll receive your Advanced OW Certification card. We have a few different ways for you to complete your Advanced Open Water but some of our most popular combinations include Deep, Drift, Wreck, Buoyancy, Navigation and Night specialty programs. You can even combine it with weekend away and complete your course somewhere stunning like The Bay of Islands! You'll have to complete the dive medical declaration before participating in any in-water activities, and might need to be signed off by a dive doctor before being allowed to dive.
