Destination: Split.
Combine the walking tour of Split with a visit to the city of Trogir. After the 90 min walking tour of the Diocletian's Palace, your tour guide will drive you to Trogir in a comfortable air-conditioned van. You will learn about the history of this awe-inspiring UNESCO old town from the knowledgeable local guide as you walk the narrow streets, and visit historical monuments such as the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, one of the most impressive works of architecture in all of Eastern Europe. You will have the chance to see two beautiful small towns where your guide will show you as much as possible but you will still have some free time to wander around before going back to Split.

Thailand is predominantly Buddhist, with around 95% of Thais practising the Theravada discipline of Buddhism. So it's not unusual to see monks walking the streets of Bangkok. This small group half-day tour takes you to Bangkok's three most sacred and significant temples – Wat Pho, Wat Traimit and Wat Benchamabophit. First up is Wat Traimit, known as the temple of the Golden Buddha, which protects a 3m tall Buddha statue crafted from more than 5 tons of solid gold. Then, it's onward to the second temple of the day – Wat Pho. It is known as the temple of the Reclining Buddha because of its large statues, which at an 46 metres in length and 15 metres in height, is the largest in the city. The day's final temple is Wat Benchamabophit – the ‘Temple of the Fifth King' – which is famed for its intricate Italian marble detail. To round off the tour, there's a visit to a lapidary factory, where you can browse handicrafts, jewellery and silk.

And again the churches of San Francesco d'Assisi adjacent to the town hall, San Domenico with its fascinating rose window, Santa Maria del Suffragio with its skeletons. From Portavecchia beach we will follow the sixteenth-century city walls to reach the Carlo V castle and the old port with its fishing boats. And finally a tasting of typical Apulian products!
